Book Your West Michigan Camping Experience

Is camping on your bucket list this year? Have you ever wanted to go camping but you don't want to risk a tent? Or maybe you're visiting the Great Lakes state and you want to enjoy a bonfire by the river. All you have to do is show up. We've got you covered, literally.

Nate and I keep our camper at a beautiful seasonal lot in West Michigan right on a river. It turns out we are at that age where our summer weekends are fairly booked with weddings, showers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, etc. and we aren't using it as much as we would like to. So, we figured why not share it with family, friends, and those looking for a hassle free camping weekend!

Local Attractions

We have compiled a list of our favorite attractions nearby. We love our seasonal lot location for this exact reason!

  • Silver Lake Sand Dunes (40 minutes)

    • If you've never rode or drove a vehicle on the sand dunes... this is a must! Either take your own equipped vehicle or schedule a tour through Mac Wood Dune Rides for you and the family.

  • Pentwater (35 minutes)

  • Ludington (45 minutes)

  • Muskegon (35 minutes)

    • Be sure to check out the best bar on Lake Michigan, The Deck. One of our favorite spots to hit after a beach day! Dogs and kids welcome with outdoor games and a band right on the beach.

  • Grand Rapids (50 minutes)

    • Our home town! Look for a local concert or sport event or simply head in for a nice dinner downtown.

  • ORV Trails nearby

  • Walking distance to a local bar and market

The Camping Details

  • The camper sleeps up to 4 people

    • 1 full sized mattress

    • 1 single fold down table with cushions (best for 1 adult or 2 children)

  • The campground does have electric, water, a small playground (pictured below), a fire ring, and direct river access right from the campsite.

  • Our camper simply serves as a place for you and your family to comfortably sleep with A/C.

  • Please note that the water is not hooked up to the camper, therefore, you would use the water spigot on the site as a potable water supply and porta-potty's.

  • You are also expected to bring everything you need - sheets, towels, wood, plates, grill, cooking utensils, etc.

  • Further details and simple mechanics of the camper will be discussed upon booking!

We would love to share our love for West Michigan with you! Please let us know of any local attractions you're looking to explore. We will happily provide any advice we can!
